e road / I've got that feeling that we gotta long way to go / Where we going, no one really knows / Let's close up that house and get out on the road."
"No Bees, No Honey" was recorded at The House in Choctaw with producer Matt Dylan Street, a multi-instrumentalist who deserves considerable credit for not being a mindless studio drone. His stellar session work and editing ear is responsible for much of the album's unexpected and much-appreciated character. "No Bees, No Honey" is buzz-worthy, for sure.
Harter debuts "Bees" Saturday at an album-release show with Mayola, Samantha Crain and OKC emcee Jabee. The show starts at 9 p.m. at The Conservatory, 8911 N. Western. Tickets are $5. Visit www.myspace.com/aliharter. "?Joe Wertz
