Not all art is intended for the home. JRB Art at The Elms, located in the historic Paseo arts district, invites visitors and art lovers alike with the debut of "Office Art," a salute to artwork suited to the corporate world.
Opening Friday with a 6-10 p.m. reception, the exhibit features works by numerous guests and gallery artists, including:

" Joy Richardson,
" D.J. Lafon,
" Kay Orr and
" Greg Burns.
"The selection and installation of art in the workplace is a powerful way for a company to favorably project its overall image," said Joy Reed Belt, director of JRB Art at The Elms, in a press release. "Art instantly communicates a company's unique corporate culture and makes the workplace more inviting and stimulating. Art also provides individual workers an important release from daily pressure as well as giving them inspiration and hope."
