Have you considered the healing power of chiropractic?

We’ve been to the chiropractor and we can say unequivocally that it kinda helped. We paid him for his services — with a check.

But a local chiro with the not-at-all-creepy name of Shandy Sells was arrested a little over a week ago for allegedly seeking a different form of payment. And we don’t mean cash or PayPal.

According
to authorities, Sells asked a patient (a woman working with police) to
provide sexual services in exchange for his professional back-crackings.

Sells posted bail and was released shortly after the arrest.

Beth Carter, Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners executive director, said no complaints against Sells have been filed yet.

Requesting sexual relations as payment for treatment: illegal.

Telling your patients that a neck adjustment can cure their seasonal allergies: still perfectly legal.
