Unfortunately, on Oct. 7 at an Oklahoma City bar, the only form of jurisprudence available was street justice featuring Lewis B. Moon, an OKC attorney. Apparently he and another attorney, identified by The Oklahoman as Edmond lawyer James Pasquali, had some beef.
Its noteworthy that Moon was the star of a video released by the Warr Acres Police Department in 2008 after he was arrested near a Whataburger for public intoxication. In that video, Moon loudly demanded to be taken to the county lockup and name-dropped influential people in the Oklahoma County justice system in an effort to be let go.
And just a month prior to
the latest incident involving Moon, the state Supreme Court had censured
him for his run-ins with the law, at least two of which involved
the Oct. 7 police report, Pasquali was at the Thunder Roadhouse bar when
Moon and another man, James Randall Dodd, began harassing him about
paying back money he supposedly owed Dodd. They claimed Pasquali failed
to adequately represent Dodds son in an auto accident case.
and Dodd allegedly began threatening Pasquali. At one point, according
to the police report, County Boss Moon grabbed Pasquali by the collar
and said he would have him killed and his children raped by people from
Houston, where Boss Moon owns some car lots.
The Oklahoman went
into greater detail of what Boss Moon allegedly said, using a racial
epithet to describe people he would send to rape and kill Pasqualis
Moon also allegedly threatened to smash the mans head in with a bat if he went to the cops and to jam a pen in his neck if Pasquali didnt pay up, according to police.
concerned that he wasnt getting his point across, Boss Moon then
reportedly rattled off some dialogue from a favorite movie of fake
hard-asses everywhere, Casino. Wha, Goodfellas isnt good
