Regarding the Sara Ferguson letter "Bicyclists vs. everyone else" in the Sept. 29 Oklahoma Gazette:
I have been trying for quite some time to get a ticket from the Lake Hefner patrol for riding my bike in the pedestrian-only path. So far, I have failed, but I will keep trying until I am successful.
When I appear in court, my defense will be twofold: One, I will present photos of pedestrians on the bike-only path and two, I will make a discovery request for all violations issued to pedestrians walking on the bike-only path. It should be clear to everyone who uses the trails at Lake Hefner that no one pays attention to the signs and the Lake Patrol are not doing their job. If you are walking, stay off the bike trail.
