Billy Bob Thornton cancels Oklahoma concerts

Actor-turned-country-crooner Billy Bob Thornton had to cancel two Oklahoma casino performances because of problems with his band's road crew, his publicist said.

The tattooed star of "Bad Santa" and "Friday Night Lights" was set to play the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami on Friday and the Riverwind Casino in Norman on Saturday. Both shows were nixed because of "routing issues with the band's support crew," Thornton's publicist Arnold Robinson said Monday afternoon.

Thornton's tour - in support of his album "Beautiful Door," which was released in July - is scheduled to take him to more than two dozen stages throughout the U.S. and Canada. No word if other shows will be canceled, or when Thornton might return to the Sooner State.

Ticket holders wanting a refund should call the casino box offices:

" Buffalo Run Casino, Miami - (918) 542-7140, ext. 2200

" Riverwind Casino, Norman - 322-6464   -Joe Wertz
