Amid all the ads for NOS energy drinks and Axe body spray, there was even an introduction that attempted to justify the list: "This week marks the 71st anniversary of John Steinback's epic novel, 'The Grapes of Wrath.' OK so we didn't actually read this particular American classic, but it does give us a panhandle-size chance to talk about Oklahoma. ... Yes indeedy, there are more than a few Okies that we'd like to pokey-pokey."
Yes, "Steinback," not Steinbeck. We believe they've never read him.
In one of those annoying, one-per-page click-through experiences, Complex broke down its choices, including a short description and sexy photo for each. To save you the time " and the accidental clicking of a Vans ad " CFN proudly took notes.
From No. 10 to No. 1 were former Miss America Lauren Nelson, porn star Ashlynn Brooke, actresses Tisha Campbell Martin, T.V. Carpio, Lauren Stamile, Nicki Aycox, Kristin Chenoweth, Malese Jow, singer Carrie Underwood and G4 TV host Olivia Munn.
Unsurprisingly, Complex's write-ups included come-ons like "We'd love to help her hit the high notes" and "You already know we'd love her to show us the backseat" so thinly veiled, we could feel the elbow nudges through the monitor.
