On the night of June 20, a large piece of metal is believed to have come dislodged from the skyscraper, thanks to high winds in the area, falling and crashing through the Phillips Murrah law office in the neighboring Corporate Tower, according to The Associated Press account.

No one was hurt, but the metal left a 3- to 4-foot gash in one of the windows and showered the Phillips Murrah lobby with glass, the AP reported. Project director Gavin Kalley told the AP it was a 1-by-3 portion of concrete formwork.

The accident marks the third high-profile accident at the Devon site since work began in 2009, following an incident in February 2010 when some concrete pillars fell to the ground and another incident the next month in which a crane overturned, according to the AP.

“From a statistical standpoint, we’re performing on a very high level,” Kalley said. “We have a very successful safety program, and we’ve done a lot great training of the workforce that we’re very proud of.”
