Review: This glittering bud ground extremely well into a perfectly packed bowl. The smoke was earthy, but there was no hint of harshness — notably so because an attempt to take a small, final hit resulted in me billowing a cloud. The feeling in my lungs when I realized what I had done was immediately apparent too, so tread lightly unless you intentionally are looking to get flung into space. I was told by Shawn Carson, co-owner of Gaia’s Favor, that this cross between Gorilla Glue and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies was about 70 percent indica and 30 percent sativa. I definitely got the sativa jitters as the high escalated, but that faded into a strong, long-lasting high that inspired me more to enjoy a sunset walk than it did to finish my tasks for the day. Unless you are an experienced smoker, go slow, because I did not feel the effects taper off until several hours after I smoked. I did not realize until after purchasing this sample that it was sourced from the same grower as the Silverback Gorilla, which I previously reviewed and enjoyed with a similar strength of effects.
