Sarah Palin " perhaps you've heard of her? " was all set to debut her new show, "Real American Stories," on Fox News. The scheduled guests were announced as rapper-cum-actor LL Cool J, former General Electric CEO Jack Welch and Oklahoma country music superstar Toby Keith.
One problem: Keith and J (or is it LL?) said, "What?"
According to reports on every news outlet in the country " just pick one " neither man knew of any interview scheduled with the former vice presidential candidate. Not because they're not "Real Americans," but because there was no interview with Palin.
Instead, Fox was taking old interviews with the stars from years past and repurposing them.
LL Cool J expressed his dis¬may " but no apostrophes " via Twitter: "Fox lifted an old inter¬view I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW."
Keith's spokesman also made it clear that the singer never agreed to an on-camera convo with Caribou Barbie.
"We were never contacted by Fox" about the show, the spokesman told the Web site HitFix. "They're promoting this like it's a brand-new interview. He never sat down with Sarah Palin."
Sarahcuda should know better than to try and mess with these guys. After all, Keith once went toe-to-toe with the Dixie Chicks over their negative comment about President George W. Bush " and there are three of them! As for LL Cool J, did she not see the anger in his eyes in "Deep Blue Sea" after that shark ate his parrot?
