Heard on Hurd

Following a successful 2014 premiere, Heard on Hurd, Edmond’s ongoing street festival, has announced its second iteration.

The fest, now expanded from the corner of Broadway and Hurd avenues to Littler Street, features local music, shops and food vendors. Performing musicians and participating vendors will be announced soon.

“It’s been tough being cooped up during the winter months,” said Jill Castilla, president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond, which curates the festival. “Whenever the cold weather threated to get us down … we just started counting down to Heard on Hurd.”

Starting with an opening night from 6 to 10 p.m. March 21, the festival will run every third Saturday of the month through October.
