The last installment left Zoey and friends in hot water, with sides being drawn up in a big war between American Indian myths come alive (including creepy bird people called Raven Mockers) and the vampire goddess, Nyx, all set to go down in Tulsa. It's all too melodramatic for me, but the plot is absorbing.
