I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

-teams with Adam Sandler in "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" to create another infantile film aimed at the mentally and emotionally underdeveloped. Big talent like Dan Aykroyd, Ving Rhames and Steve Buscemi "? as well as lesser lights like Rob Corddry, David Spade and Rob Schneider "? join Sandler, Kevin James and Jessica Biel (or is that Bile?) in an unfunny, unclever, unthinking film.

Offensive to people of all sexual orientations, genders, ages, creeds, races and ethnicities, the movie has as its ultimate offense not insensitivity or bad taste (fart and fat jokes abound), but awful writing, bad acting and careless direction. Those to whom this film would most appeal face obstacles in seeing it.

I wish that meant it were rated R, but it's PG-13. That means, truth be told, that very young children will see as comedy human behavior that isn't funny at all. That may be the film's most offensive aspect. PG-13
