Russell Claus is the planning director for Oklahoma City. He was born in Australia and was raised by 

non-urban chickens. Russell is planning for a future where more and more people will feel comfortable enough with the city they’ve chosen to live in to be zombies for a day. He has four children and enjoys zombie movies in his very limited spare time. He has no personal interest in becoming a zombie, temporary or otherwise.

Jeanette Elliott is Ackerman McQueen’s executive vice president of creative services. She sits on the advertising agency board, as well as those of Oklahoma City Ballet, Creative Oklahoma, Allied Arts and Oklahoma Arts Institute. In her career, she’s been honored with the Governor’s Arts Award and a Byliner Award, and named to Adweek’s Creative All-Stars. A journalism graduate from the University of Oklahoma, she’s married to architect Rand Elliott.

J. Michelle Martin-Coyne grew up in Oklahoma. She loves the smell of paint thinner and smoke bombs. 

Although she prefers to be naked, she manages to keep her clothes on long enough to be part of the Oklahoma City Arts Commission and the MAPS 3 central park subcommittee. She and her husband, Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips, recently brought the psychedelic Womb gallery to Ninth Street. Please buy her a dirty martini!

Lance McDaniel is the executive director of the deadCENTER Film Festival and an independent filmmaker who has worked on 13 feature films. This summer, Lance wrote and directed a family comedy starring “Saturday Night Live” alum Chris Kattan, and produced a documentary about the race for the first female governor of Oklahoma. Lance is currently single and looking for an accountant or engineer with tons of patience.

James A. Pickel is a native Oklahoman, originally from Duncan, and a graduate of Oklahoma State 

University. For the past 35 years, he has lived in Oklahoma City and has been employed in the architectural and construction industry. Currently, he is the co-owner and executive vice president of Smith & Pickel Construction. He is involved in numerous organizations and boards of directors, including the Allied Arts Foundation, Cultural Development Corporation of Central Oklahoma, City Arts Center, Myriad Gardens Foundation, Friends of the Mansion and Science Museum Oklahoma.
