First Position, director Bess Kargman’s award-winning documentary, steps into six screening slots at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch Drive.
The film follows half a dozen ballet dancers at the Youth America Grand Prix, one of the world’s most prestigious ballet competitions, as they prepare for a chance to enter the professional dancing world. Hundreds compete for a handful of elite scholarships and contracts.
