The University of Central Oklahoma’s American Democracy Project will educate the public about privacy and internet security with film screenings of the 2013 documentary Terms and Conditions May Apply, directed by Cullen Hoback.

With appearances by Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg and singer-songwriter Moby, the film explains to viewers that by accepting the terms and conditions on a website, the viewer is agreeing to let the government track their usage and sell their information. The film also teaches viewers how to better protect their Internet privacy.

Screenings of the documentary will be held at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m., 5:45 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in UCO’s Radke Fine Arts Theatre in the Center for Transformative Learning and at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Will Rogers Room in Nigh University Center, 100 N. University Drive in Edmond.
