The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma will hold its 27th annual Chef’s Feast, “Step Right Up to Fight Hunger,” to support Food for Kids programs. Chefs from 25 of the metro’s best restaurants will offer guests samples of gourmet, circus-themed foods like cotton candy and popcorn with bacon. A selection of fine wines and spirits also will be included.

Restaurants participating in the event for the first time include Guernsey Park and Saturn Grill. These restaurants will join past favorites like Big Truck Tacos, Local and Aunt PittyPat’s Catering, as well as supplier US Foods.

One in four children in Oklahoma struggles with hunger on a daily basis, and a $200 donation can feed a hungry child for an entire school year. Food for Kid programs supported by the fundraiser include the Backpack Program, Kids Cafe, Summer Feeding and School Pantries.

The event will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, 1700 NE 63rd St.

Individual tickets are $120 in advance, and patron tables are $1,400, which includes reserved seating for 10 and two bottles of wine. All tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and can be purchased at regionalfoodbank. org.
