Local colleges set theater schedules for academic year

Most Oklahoma audiences already know that on any given weekend, college shows can prove as exciting as community or even professional theater, as new, fresh talent find their acting, singing and dancing legs.

University seasons also can offer those unusual, edgier shows that community theaters know have an audience, but not a large enough one to feed the necessary box-office revenues.
