okcBIZ 2011 Fittest Execs and Corporate Wellness award winners announced

The Fittest Execs program, presented by St. Anthony, and in
partnership with the YMCA and Oklahoma State Department of Health, is a
new initiative by okcBIZ magazine to identify, recognize, reward and
promote area executives who prioritize health and fitness in their lives
and at their organizations, and to recognize employers who provide
wellness programs and opportunities for their employees.

Each
executive's fitness level was evaluated by St. Anthony's SCORE program
for endurance, strength, flexibility and body makeup, including a health
risk appraisal and blood work assessment. Also, as a part of their
assessment, each executive completed a questionnaire regarding their
fitness and nutrition habits.

Those recognized for workplace
wellness were evaluated and scored for offering onsite exercise spaces,
health risk appraisals and screenings, team sports, weight-loss programs
and tobacco-free initiatives.

The Fittest Execs and Workplace
Wellness winners will be featured in the December issue of okcBIZ
magazine, publishing soon. Additional copies of the December issue may
be purchased by calling 405.605.6789 or by visiting okc.biz.
