OKG7 buffets to grub on

Cajun King
5816 N.W. 63rd

Even if you pay for the buffet and only wind up eating the catfish and beignets that are brought to the table, it’s worth it. For the actual smorgasbord of Creole delight, however, don’t pass up the crawfish étouffée and au gratin potatoes. New Orleans was never so close.

Golden Palace
1500 S. Meridian

The buffet selection at this family-friendly eatery is incredibly diverse. From pho, various noodle bowls, fresh crawfish and soups to the most popular Mongolian barbecue dishes, you’re sure to get much more than you pay for at this popular spot.

Hibachi Supreme Buffet
1012 W. Interstate 240 Service Rd.

This place isn’t playing around. Its buffet runs Monday through Sunday and features baby back ribs, sushi, fresh mussels and mac ’n’ cheese. Of course, there’s also the hibachi buffet where you can watch the chef prepare your hand-picked meal.

Thai House II
500 N.W. 23rd

In the market for go-to Thai delicacies? This place has a pretty firm offering and loyal clientele. Expect fresh, authentic dishes spiced just as you order. For variety — the spice of life, you know — opt for the lunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Park Avenue Grill
1 Park Avenue

You might not be able to afford this Skirvin Hilton eatery on a routine basis, so give its weekday lunch buffet a try. The bread basket, salads, sides and entrées are more than enough to fill you up. Also included is a stand-alone dessert buffet.

Taj Cuisine of India
1500 N.W. 23rd

The buffet features vegetarian-friendly dishes like palak paneer and vegetable samosas. Don’t feel left out, meat-eaters! Delight in tandoori chicken, lamb vindaloo and fish curry. For dessert, have gulab jamun, a milk-based pastry ball smothered in rosewater and cardamom syrup.

Catfish Cove
925 S.W. 25th, Moore

When a restaurant puts up signs that read, “All you can eat!” and then fries up catfish, shrimp, okra and hushpuppies, things get serious. One can't sustain on fried food alone, however, so enjoy a fresh salad or some coleslaw, also available on the buffet.
