From the blog dlisted.com comes the story of one man and his love for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, or Brangelina.
Sculptor Daniel Edwards, the man behinds such refined works as Britney Spears giving birth on a bearskin rug and the bronzed baby poo of Suri Cruise (daughter of couch-jumper Tom), comes his latest work, "Brangelina Forever."
What does all this have to do with Oklahoma? The statue, which depicts a naked Angie and Brad embracing while a bird (yes, a bird) rests on Angie's shoulder, will be displayed in an Oklahoma City home just miles from Pitt's Shawnee birthplace. And not just any Oklahoma City home, but a showcase home designed by an artist named Xvala, which he has christened "The Brangelina."
Xvala has installed the statue in the master bedroom's ceiling to inspire "sexual healing for the room's occupants." What? There was no reason given as to why the statue and home are located in Oklahoma City, not exactly as denizen of liberal artistes, but Xvala and his publicist do leave us with beautiful statements.
"The 'Brangelina' sculpture is destined to exist forever, the way Brad and Angie's relationship will persist in peoples' memories," publicist Cory Allen said.
"I believe every home in America should become an 'honorary home' to our Superstars," Xvala added.
Riiiiiight. And Bucky the intern believes every home in America should have a magic Chick-fil-A that produces piping-hot goodness on command, but you don't see him collaborating on a statue and showcase home to realize his dream.
