Is that a felony conviction in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
OK, Kristin Chenoweth, if all we had to do to win your affection was go to prison, why didn't you tell us when you were in town recently, plugging your book? We so would've jaywalked or stabbed a hobo.
According to a June 11 report on the Internet Movie Database, Oklahoma's diminutive Broadway and Hollywood diva once dated actor Lane Garrison (best known as Tweener on TV's "Prison Break") in 2006. He's the one who was sent to the clinker in late 2007 on charges of vehicular manslaughter and DUI after crashing a car that left a teenage passenger dead.
The IMDb reports their love was "reignited" when Chenoweth "reached out to him" via letters sent to him in prison. Now that he's out early on good behavior, he's "seeking comfort" in her arms. (Maybe he heard of her meteorological prediction powers?)
Garrison's not the first bad boy Chenoweth's romanced. Chicken-Fried News hasn't forgotten her on-again/off-again relationship with "West Wing" creator Aaron Sorkin, a show she later joined. Sorkin was arrested in 2001 at the Burbank Airport with a carry-on bag full of 'shrooms, doobage and crack. Ah, l'amour!
