The Jan. 21 Oklahoman has an editorial ("Cap and tirade: Benge is right in urging caution") that basically tells state Rep. David Dank, R-Oklahoma City, to sit down and shut up. As I understand it, Rep. Dank wants to bring a couple of property tax issues to a vote of the people, and the good folks at The Oklahoman apparently object.

However, when it comes to voting on MAPS I through Infinity, they have no objection to the voters having a say, especially when The Oklahoman and its affiliates receive direct tax benefits.

So to The Oklahoman I say, and I'm paraphrasing a quote from Dick Cheney, screw you!
