PRESS RELEASE National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum announces temporary closure

In response to public health concerns regarding COVID-19, the museum is closed starting March 17.

In support of the nationwide effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, and in accordance with recommendations from local and national health officials, the Museum will be closed to the public effective March 17, 2020. The Museum is tentatively scheduled to reopen to the public on April 1.

We will continue to monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Oklahoma State Department of Health. Should any additional changes to our hours of operation or programming be necessary, updates will be posted at nationalcowboymuseum.org/coronavirus and on our social platforms.
