The agri-tainment site is open now through Saturday for spring break, to debut its zip line.
The owners wanted something new and exciting that would appeal to
older children, said Lauren Lorenzen, spokeswoman for the farm. Its been tested out by the staff, and they all said it was a lot of fun.
The line, which can reach speeds up to 25 mph, requires that riders weigh at least 70 pounds and go through training before taking the plunge.
One of the best things about it is that it has four lanes so people can race, Lorenzen said. Its something fun for adults to do as well.
Farm hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission for spring break is $10.50. For more information, call 799-3276 or visit orrfamilyfarm.com. Courtney Silva
