Researchers seek Big Foot trail in Southeastern Oklahoma

That sexy beast known as Bigfoot has left another tantalizing clue in the forests of Southeastern Oklahoma. Don't you just love it when he plays hard to get?

The folks of the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center spent Memorial Day weekend combing the Kiamichi Mountains for evidence of the elusive guy, according to a story in the Tulsa World. And, they didn't leave the area doing the walk of shame; they claim they scored a possible footprint.

The print in question measured 15 and three-fourths inches long and 5 inches wide, said D.W. Lee, the research center's global director. Hot damn!

But, that's not all the group discovered over their weekend in the woods. Lee said the crew also heard "vocalizations," which he said are the mocking calls o' Bigfoot himself. Mocking? Like "Yo mama" jokes? No. As in the Yeti of Little Dixie imitating the sounds of doves and owls to, we're guessing, make a stew. Lee also said one member of the team was pelted with a rock just after two large, bipedal animals were spotted sauntering across a road during a night hike.

We don't know about you, but that would have been our clue to pack up and ship out "¦ preferably to somewhere with a lockable door and a shotgun.
