If you bring a picture of your child into participating facilities with a photo station — located throughout the metro at Little Caesar’s stores, Quail Springs Mall and Penn Square Mall — their face will be superimposed onto a picture of an an elephant.

Resulting photos e-mailed to the zoo will be randomly selected for daily prizes. Five entries will be selected to be named “Elephant Zoo Keeper for the Day,” and one will win a grand prize of a Rainbow outdoor play set provided by Statuary World. The contest ends April 9.

The contest is a way to build excitement for the opening of the zoo’s elephant habitat on March 11, said spokesperson Candice Rennels.

“We’re really excited,” Rennels said. “It’s a state-of-the-art facility and helps in our efforts of conservation. We’re eager to see what the future holds with the opening.”
