Seinfeld: Season 7

Yadda, yadda, yadda "? what more could be said about "Seinfeld" that hasn't been said so many times already? This acclaimed "show about nothing" certainly puts the current slate of network comedies in perspective; with its rapid-fire wit and zeitgeisty catchphrases ("No soup for you!"), it makes you think: When's the last time you discussed an episode of "Two and a Half Men" over the watercooler?
No matter "? with this latest installment of impeccably preserved episodes (24 in all), you can dull the pain of the modern TV wasteland and delight in such classics as "The Soup Nazi," "The Sponge" and "The Rye," all of which hold up quite well and, again, shame most of what passes for sitcoms these days.
Spread over four discs, "Seinfeld: Season 7" is packed with supplemental material, including commentaries, interview footage, bloopers, deleted scenes and a funky little feature called "Sein-Imation," which basically re-imagines sequences from the show but in pen-and-ink form.
For faithful fans (and even those who catch the odd rerun), this set is a no-brainer. Highly recommended.
