Shot passenger leads to Oklahoman's erratic driving

We've finally heard what we think is a foolproof excuse for erratic driving.

A police officer spotted a car speeding and weaving Sept. 10 and pulled the driver over around S.E. 44th and Lindsay. And why was the driver weaving all over the road? Because a passenger in the back seat had been shot several times, according to a story on NewsOK.com. Whoa, carry on then.

The victim had received the lovely gift of three to five bullets in the chest and abdomen, and police were able to follow a trail of blood (kind of like a more grotesque Hansel and Gretel) back to an apartment complex.

The victim, being sped to the hospital for a Band-Aid or 20 before being pulled over, was rushed to OU Medical Center.
