In searching for the best for its customers, this Midwest City deli decided to expand recently and now stays open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Among its good values are the most-requested chicken salad sandwich, along with other cafe sandwiches and a good chicken tortilla soup, plus smoothies, coffee and tea.

Located near the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, the restaurant’s menu is not mind-boggling. You will find hot and sour soup, fried pork chops, a Buddha delight, lo mein and interesting beverages. Credit of personality and creative force goes to owner Peidi Tao.

Going full steam at Republic Gastropub (under the umbrella of A Good Egg Dining Group), it’s a toss-up between straightforward burgers, fish and chips or bangers and mash. Pair this with a cold beer from Coop, Marshall and Choc, and beer flights in 4-ounce increments. Around the room are flat-screen televisions featuring brilliant color and detailed images. Check out the 200-inch, high-def, movie-quality screen.

not big, bold fare, but the menu here is carefully focused on burgers.
Sliders are the big hits with 16 different variations and eight other
offerings such as Philly cheesesteaks and chicken sandwiches. You’ll get
a rush from the loaded and smothered fries. Everything is fresh and
made in-house, from toppings to sauces. Out of the Box handles its
desserts. S & B’s is getting nothing but raves.

Anna’s Famous Gyros

is big-flavored Greek and Persian food with no frills. The dessert,
namely baklava, is in a word: scrumptious. Owner Anna Kermati features a
kebob of ground beef and a shish kebob of chicken. The tabbouleh salad
is good as is the shirazi salad, done with cucumbers, tomatoes and diced

Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe

mouth will say merci! after a taste of one of the sandwiches at
Camille’s. Relax and enjoy a chicken Caesar wrap or a Tex-Mex club. And
that’s just a start of the many available treats. Its signature soup is
the creamy Tuscan tomato, and it is now open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Camille’s also features best-selling soft drinks from Pops in Arcadia.

is an unstuffy place to unwind. Try its many authentic dishes, as well
as its specials, namely the chiles rellenos. There’s also fare for those
in the mood for something less festive. Try the grilled T-Bone
Mexicano, or keep it simple with a burger. Tantalize taste buds with a
manager-recommended Gringo Loco.
