Bills Island Grill
1013 S.W. 89th 631-2300
Owner Cliff Childs moved
his 30-year-old Bills Restaurant out of Norman because of rent increases
and will now focus on island cuisine at his new spot on S.W. 89th
Street, just west of Western Avenue. Many of his well-trained staff came
along. The Island Ranch Bacon Burger is a flavorful combination, along
with fish tacos, calamari and Island Club sandwiches. Major desserts are
its attractive Key lime pie cheesecake and its triple chocolate cake.

Old School Bagel Cafe
3209 S. Broadway, Edmond 285-2233
Right
on the well-traveled intersection of 33rd and Broadway in Edmond, owner
Mike Leal opened this Old School Bagel Cafe just a few weeks ago.
Happily, we already know that Old School Bagels food is good, but this
location is also serving salads (chef, cobb, Boston and an Asian
variety). Try its homemade cookies for a nice dessert to finish.
