Banana Island is back! Its owners couldnt stay away from Oklahoma or serving up their traditionally prepared ethnic fare. The international menu focuses on food from Malaysia. Highly recommended are the pancakes with wild rice, its hot and spicy crab and the mango chicken. For a finale, order bubur cha-cha, a traditional sweet dessert featuring taro, yam and sweet potatoes.

wine bar is brand-new, opening its doors in the heart of downtown
Edmond on Nov. 10. Co-owned by Melanie Chesser, the 3,200-square-foot
restaurant is a sanctuary for wine, tapas and sweets. The desserts are
homemade, and the bar is stocked with high-end wine and beer only. You
might save this for a night youre feeling fancy.

Cueva is Spanish for the cave, and owners Jaime and Cela Montelongo
moved the rocks from the entrance just days ago. The tortas, which are
Mexican sandwiches, have been a big hit. For lunch or dinner, try
