Get ready to rumble as the Masters of the Cage XVI Ultimate Night of Champions hits the ring 8 p.m. Friday at the Coca-Cola Bricktown Events Center, 429 E. California. Watch six Oklahoma natives battle it out in 10 fights for six titles.

Oklahoma City natives and NCAA wrestling champions Jared Hess and Cole Province are on the ticket, and Norman native Wayne Cole will spar for the pro heavyweight title. Oklahoma State University NCAA wrestling champ Johny Hendricks and his Big 12 teammate Shane Roller will make their mixed-martial arts debut.

Masters of the Cage President Michael Dillon said the fight will feature the best of the best from Oklahoma, Texas, Nevada and Mississippi.

"We have the best show in the region, hands down," he said. "It's going to be the biggest show " as far as quality of athletes " that's ever happened in Oklahoma."

Get ready to see more of Masters of the Cage in the future, as he said the group has just signed a deal to set up a permanent fighting venue in Bricktown.

"We have a very loyal following here," he said. "People are going to see a lot more of the fights they want to see."
