If dealing with relatives all Thanksgiving weekend isnt scary enough for you, then how about a haunted house?
Yes, a haunted house. At the end of November.
The Terror on 10th Street house is now open for A Haunted Thanksgiving, after Halloween clientele urged the owners to open the local horror hot spot for other holidays.
Weve had a lot of requests to do the Thanksgiving house, said spokeswoman Terry Fisk, and it is an all-new show. Its not the same one we do at Halloween.
The house has been open for seven Halloweens, but this is its first time to celebrate Turkey Day. People who brave the spooky site should be prepared to face goblins and ghouls galore. The ghosts of dead families haunt the home, as do undead Native Americans and pilgrims.
I dont know if you read the article declaring November the month of creativity for Oklahoma, Fisk said. It kind of goes with that: Its something different, and I think were the only ones doing it the first ones ever doing it. How many times have you been invited to a haunted Thanksgiving? Located at 2005 N.W. 10th, Terror on 10th Street is open from 6 to 10 p.m.
Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $6 per person.
