The Ambassadors' Concert Choir Presents: "Dear Mrs. Parks"

The Ambassadors’ Concert Choir is excited to announce an upcoming performance in the historical Douglass Auditorium at Page-Woodson. “Dear Mrs. Parks”, a choral/orchestral composition written by Hannibal Lokumbe, will be presented on Saturday, February 23 at 2:00 pm and at 7:00 pm. The book, Dear Mrs. Parks, A Dialogue with Today’s Youth, was written by Rosa Parks and Gregory J. Reed and published in 1996. The book is a compilation of letters Mrs. Parks received from school children asking questions about her experiences; her decision to not give up her seat and how it felt to be put in jail.
