This is a thank you to Letter to the Editor writer Lynn Garman ("Offering 'an alternative,'" Nov. 24, Gazette) for her inspirational letter. Her eloquent words spoke my feelings precisely.
I, too, am a frustrated progressive who has had relatively little creative outlet in such a theocratic and conservative state. Even the food I eat is ridiculed by many because I don't dine on animals " I admire them. However, thanks to Garman and many Oklahoma Gazette readers, I'm sure there is hope. Hope that we progressives can band together and do something with our collective liberal mouths. We just have to ensure we stay connected.
