Oklahoma City ranked seventh on Forbes Magazine’s Top 10 Best Cities for Good Jobs. The magazine reported that gains in energy employment, financial services, utilities, hospitality and transportation sectors contributed to the city’s success.

According to Forbes, OKC’s unemployment rate is 4.8 percent, and per capita income is $36,915.

However, our neighbors to the south, Texas, were the clear winners; Dallas ranked No. 1, and Houston, Austin, Fort Worth and San Antonio all made the list.
