Coneys & More
1317 S.E. 44th
The name says it all. Coneys & More takes the standard hot dog and douses it with homemade chili, which is called the All American. A customer may request coleslaw and relish toppings, too. But its the fresh-battered corn dogs that are the big hits. On the menu are battered and deep-fried pickle chips and also sliced jalapeños that are battered and deepfried, too.

Enthusiastic Rusty Rasmussen, the owner of Rustys Frozen Custard, gave his place a fresh new name and says he has some great new products with a bunch of neveroffered-before menu items. I am an oldschool guy, and I stick to the basics, he said. His new slogan is: Where delicious things happen. He has an old-fashioned banana split and another ice cream treat called the Love Machine.
